About Us
About Tennis Alliance
Mission Statement
To expand tennis opportunities for all in Anne Arundel County and to promote the sport of tennis for health, wellness, and life.
A Glimpse of What We Do
- The Tennis Alliance provides free tennis lessons and distributes free rackets to
youth and parents in under-resourced communities. Annually, we serve over 400 youth and adults who participate in Tennis Alliance programs. - The Tennis Alliance provides adaptive tennis programs for the County, and in partnership with Annapolis Rec and Parks, provides affordable youth and adult programs at Truxtun Park.
- We offer 6-week programs, one-time introductions to tennis, and support community health fairs and festivals.
- We use the sport of tennis to teach skills and promote values that enable youth to embrace an active and diverse lifestyle throughout their lives.
